For the past five years or so I have been creating cross stitch pieces in my spare time.
Below are a few I have done!

"Starry Night" was the first cross stitch I did to get back into it after a ten year gap. It took a few months during my spare time.

A common theme I chose after that was antique Singer sewing machine compositions. My mother has three different ones similar to this that I created for her.

This was my first own cross stitch design. I combined traditional methods with ribbon embroidery.

Recently I have dabbled with painting the fabric and creating my own cross stitch designs on top of it. I found watercolors on the fabric work very well to create light colors to stitch on top of.
